Donderos’ Kitchen: Tapas with Tim
Small Dishes – and a Dessert -- from Italy
Our fixed menu, fixed price “tapas” evening for April will feature six elegant Italian specialties, somewhat like a dinner served in courses. You bring your wine of choice.
Join us for a tour of delightful Italian regional dishes prepared for you by Chef Tim Dondero and colleagues. Tim will introduce and discuss the dishes as they are served.
The specialties this evening will include: Antipasti misti -- cold antipasto specialties, including meats, fish, vegetables and olives; Campanella pasta dressed with kale-walnut-gorgonzola sauce; Fried eggplant with ricotta cheese and marinara sauce; Chicken braised with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, accompanied by polenta; Italian cheeses; Chocolate-dipped amaretto bars plus fresh fruit.
Tim’s preferred wine to for this selection of dishes would be light to medium bodied red, a Chianti or Nero d’Avola. Or for white, a cold Orvieto.

Price $45 for a couple, $25 for a single. Corkage fee is $2 per couple.
