Tapas with Tim - Thursday, March 3
Small Dishes from France
Our fixed menu, fixed price “tapas” evening for March will feature elegant French specialties. You bring your wine of choice.
Join us for a tour of delightful French regional dishes prepared for you by Chef Tim Dondero and colleagues. Tim will introduce and discuss the dishes as they are served.
The specialties this evening will include: Hors d’Oeuvre Variés -- Mousse de Foie de Volaille [chicken liver pâté], Céleri Rémoulade [celery root in aioli], Saumon Fumé Tartare [garnished chopped smoked salmon], Cornichons [French tarragon-infused small pickles]; Salade Forestière (spring mix salad with marinated mushrooms and toasted walnuts); Lentilles au Saucisson à l’Ail (Alsatian braised lentils with garlic sausage); Pommes Savoyarde (scalloped potatoes with Gruyère cheese); Emincé de Porc à la Moutarde (thin-sliced pork tenderloin sautéed with mushrooms and cream and enhanced with Dijon mustard), served with rice.
Tim’s preferred wine to for this selection of dishes would be a Pinot Noir or Beaujolais, or a chilled dry French rosé.
